Event Participation

The 2024 European LLVM Developers Meeting will host pre-event workshops on April 9, and the main sessions will be held over April 10 - 11 in Vienna, Austria at the Vienna Marriott Hotel

Each ticket includes 2 days of the meeting April 10 - April 11, and an evening reception on April 10.

Here are the different tickets available for the event:

  • Corporate Ticket - $800 (register by February 29), $900 (after February 29)
    Main conference tickets for employees of corporations. 
     
  • Individual/Academic/Nonprofit: $600 (register by February 29), $700 (after February 29)
    Main conference tickets for Individuals that are self-employed, or that work for academia or non-profits. 
     
  • Student Ticket: $250 (register by February 29), $350 (after February 29)
    Main conference tickets for those that are full time students.

There are also pre-event workshops on April 9 you can register for, for an additional fee:

  • MLIR Workshop
    Corporate: $125 (register by February 29), $175 (after February 29)
    Individual/Academic/Nonprofit: $100 (register by February 29), $150 (after February 29)
    Student: $75 (register by February 29), $125 (after February 29)
  • Newcomer & Community.o Meeting + Reception
    Corporate: $50
    Individual/Academic/Nonprofit: $40
    Student: $30

We welcome anyone who wants to attend, but this meeting will be particularly interesting to:

  • Active developers of projects in the LLVM Umbrella (LLVM core, MLIR, Clang, LLDB, libc++, lld, etc)
  • Developers of programming languages (ie. Rust, Swift, Mojo) that use LLVM or MLIR
  • Anyone interested in using LLVM, MLIR or other libraries as part of another project
  • Students and Researchers
  • Compiler, programming language, and runtime enthusiasts
  • Those interested in using compiler and toolchain technology in novel and interesting ways
  • Those interested in diversity and inclusion in the field of compilers, tools, and open source

This event is for both newcomers to the LLVM Project and current LLVM contributors who want to help the LLVM community grow. For newcomers, it will help you learn more about the LLVM Project and our Developers’ Meeting. For current LLVM contributors, you will be providing a warm welcome to the newcomers and also participating in discussions to help the LLVM project grow and diversify so it can be thriving for years to come.

Registration

Yes, in order to secure a meeting spot, you will need to register to attend by March 31. 

Yes, space is limited and pre-registration is required; to register for a workshop, you must also purchase a Dev Mtg ticket. 

For early bird tickets, please register by February 29, 2024.

Last day to register for the conference is March 31, 2024.

A full refund is available if you cancel before March 9. If you test positive for COVID-19 and can not attend, we will also offer a full refund anytime before the event.

A receipt will be included in your confirmation email after registering for the meeting. You can also contact the event team at LLVM@blineevents.com and request a receipt.

The agenda will be posted in early March.

The meeting is typically 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM with an evening reception on April 10 from 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM. 

The pre-event workshops are on Tuesday, April 9. The MLIR Workshop is from 9:00 AM to 3:45 PM and the Newcomer & Community.o Meeting + Reception are from 4:30 PM to 7:00 PM.

Workshops are not recorded. All main conference talks, excluding round table discussions, will be recorded and posted on the LLVM YouTube channel after the event.
