Wendi is a Process & Quality Engineer at Woven by Toyota, where she works on software quality, process improvement, and safety-related engineering practices. She has a professional background in safety-critical software development across the automotive and railway domains, with broader experience in software engineering and computer science research. Wendi initiated and helps coordinate the LLVM Qualification Working Group, and is also active in open-source communities focused on quality and trust, including the ELISA Lighthouse OSS Special Interest Group, the Software Heritage Ambassador program, and the Xen Functional Safety Working Group. Her current work explores pathways to enable open source in safety-critical development, with a focus on collaboration between open-source communities and downstream users to create reusable guidance, process assets, and evidence for high-assurance software contexts.
