Speaker Bio
Weiwei is a compiler engineer on the Mojo language team at Modular. She is interested in building compilers to get the best performance out of computational systems. Before Modular, she has built several compilers from scratch at startups like SambaNova Systems and BigStream Solutions. She has also worked on concurrent programming library at Qualcomm Research Silicon Valley, and parallel simulation for her graduate study at UC Irvine. Weiwei enjoys playing the fiddle, reading, going hiking and folk dancing.
