Hengjie is an experienced software engineer in High Performance Computing (HPC). His expertise spans designing high performance algorithms, accelerating scientific computing applications, and optimizing AI platforms. He had an academia background, where he had made significant contributions to Exascale Computing Projects (ECP) including AMReX and MFIX during his postdoctorate fellowship. He also had publications at various prestigious conferences and journals. Currently, he serves as a GPU Performance Engineer at Modular, building the next generation AI platforms with Mojo.
