Andrew Litteken is a quantum research scientist at Intel Labs, focusing on quantum computing, compilers and optimizations. He is primarily interested in making compilation more flexible and extensible as quantum computing scales and encompasses more complicated applications. Andrew received his PhD in Computer Science from the University of Chicago in 2023 where he was advised by Professor Fred Chong. He was a of the LLVM IR Level Similarity Outliner and presented on the topic at the 2020 and 2021 LLVM Developer Meetings. He also received a B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Notre Dame in 2019.
