Vir Narula is an undergraduate in his senior year at the University of Illinois, at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC). He has been a part of the LLVM Research Group at UIUC under Professor Vikram Adve since 2020. As part of the group, he developed a front-end compiler for a heterogeneous & parallel language called Hetero-C++. He also recently completed internships at NVIDIA and Apple where he worked on compiler optimizations and analysis tools for GPUs and CPUs respectively. He will be presenting on his intern project at Apple.
