Aaron Jomy is an R&D software engineer at CERN with a background in deep learning and motion planning for autonomous vehicles. Following a research internship at the Indian Institute of Science, where he worked on sensor fusion and SLAM algorithms, he received his Bachelor's in Computer Science in 2024 with a focus on high-performance and GPU programming. He then completed his undergraduate thesis during an internship with Princeton University before joining the ROOT team at CERN, where he develops data analysis software for the LHC experiments and maintains CppInterOp, contributing to interactive C++ and language-interoperability technologies based on LLVM.
