Amir Mohammad Tavakkoli is a Ph.D. student at the University of Utah, advised by Prof. Mary Hall. His research on data-layout optimization and GPU code generation in MLIR led him to develop LEGO, a layout expression language for hierarchical mappings. He has also interned three times at NVIDIA, working on CUTLASS and high-performance kernel development.
