Aviral designs static analysis tools for C++ and Swift at Apple. He is a core contributor to the Scalable Static Analysis Framework, a new LLVM framework for summary-based, cross-translation-unit static analysis and source code rewriting of large C++ codebases. Previously, he worked on Luau's compiler, profiler, debugger, and language features. For his Ph.D., he developed dynamic analysis tools to migrate the R ecosystem from lazy to strict semantics.
