J. Ryan Stinnett is a Research Associate and PhD Student focusing on reliable debugging and toolchain verification with Dr. Stephen Kell at King’s College London. Prior to this research pathway, they worked in industry for over a decade, including at Mozilla building developer tools for Firefox. They have contributed debugging-related features to multiple programming language and toolchain communities, including LLVM and Racket. They have served on the LLVM Developers' Meeting program committee as well as the PLDI and POPL artifact evaluation committees. Ryan organizes the Malleable Systems Collective, a community that empowers domain experts to modify their digital workflows using various techniques, including some which depend on robust debug info.
