Alex Bradbury is a compiler engineer at Igalia, as well as the author of LLVM Weekly. He has been heavily involved in the RISC-V ecosystem since its inception, working across the hardware and software stack. He co-founded lowRISC, a not-for-profit that aims to bring the benefits of open-source to the hardware world, focusing primarily on the OpenTitan open source silicon root of trust. He also initiated the upstream RISC-V LLVM backend implementation, authoring the initial patchset, acting as upstream code owner, and collaborating with a growing set of contributors.
