Stan Kvasov is a Compiler Engineering Manager at MediaTek, where he works on an LLVM-based toolchain targeting LTE and 5G software-defined modems which power the company’s mobile SOCs. He drove the initial compiler optimization support for the 5G modem, championed the transition to LLVM in the compiler team, and more recently has been involved in code-layout optimizations, vector path optimizations, and compiler/hardware co-design.
