Doug has been involved in LLVM since the early days of Clang, having authored a large portion of Clang's implementation of the C++98 and C++11 standards and acted as Clang code owner for several years. More recently, Doug is one of the co-designers of the Swift programming language and a technical lead on its compiler and runtime implementation.
