Paul has been engineering software for 40 years; mostly compilers, debuggers, and related tools, but with a decade-long digression into OS security. He has five patents, all related to security work, and published three academic papers. He has been with Sony for 10 years, working on LLVM the whole time. He is a long-time member of the DWARF committee, and has an abiding interest in debugging information and the debugging experience. Within the LLVM community, he is PS4 Code Owner, and a member of the LLVM Security Group.
