Ettore Tiotto is a Senior Compiler Developer with the XL Compiler Team at IBM. He is currently working on modernizing the IBM static compilers infrastructure to leverage LLVM optimization technology, with a focus on SPEC CPU2017 performance for the latest generation of POWER processors. Previously Ettore was leading the development of the IBM XL Compilers for OpenMP 4.x, the production level compilers used on the Summit and Sierra TOP 500 supercomputers, focusing on GPU acceleration. His technical interests encompass compiler optimizations, exploitation of emerging parallel programming models, and optimizations for HW accelerators and domain specific processors.
